Description Takeshi Asano 2008-04-11 03:54:34 UTC
Language support section in summary window shows like:

-----
Language support
  - Default Language: English (United States)
  - Language Support: English <- This line should be removed
-----

but the latter item in the section (indicated
"This line should be removed" above) should be
removed for now, otherwise user can be confused
that as if only English support is installed.

Current installer just copies all live CD contents
to disk and there's no capability to selectively
install from net repository yet.
Comment 1 Niall Power 2008-04-15 08:58:09 UTC
I have committed Takeshi's suggested fix to slim_source repo.

Comment 2 Niall Power 2008-04-15 09:00:21 UTC
Ignore my previous comment. It was meant for bug 1107
Comment 3 Frank Ludolph 2008-04-15 10:12:31 UTC
This section of the summary screen should more closely match what the user sees
on the Local screen:

----------------
Locale
 * Language support: Hindi
 * Locale: India
----------------

Note that this is about the defaults the user has selected, not what will be
installed.
Comment 4 Niall Power 2008-04-16 07:56:58 UTC
Note that due to time constraints and risk, only the heading label is being
changed, from "Language Support" to "Locale".
Comment 5 Niall Power 2008-04-16 07:59:14 UTC
Changes have been committed to slim_source.

Comment 6 Takeshi Asano 2008-10-05 20:08:43 UTC
This bug should be reopened (or I can file another if
it's better way) to implement Frank suggests in the
comment #3.
But the 3rd label has been changed from "Locale" to "Territory"
for bug 1258 so Frank's suggestion should now be read as:

Locale
 * Language support: Hindi
 * Territory: India
