Description Harry Fu 2008-04-16 02:36:55 UTC
After I installed RC0 onto our Dell270 machine, the network interface only has
a empty address(0.0.0.0). "ifconfig e1000g0 dhcp" failed with "time out" error.
I'll attache the output from prtconf and scanpci.

Try to disable nwam and then manual set up connection.
# svcadm disable nwam

As the "nwam" product is for the NWAM development project and this was filed
against an (ancient) OpenSolaris build, this really belongs elsewhere. As the
interface is being plumbed, I'm guessing the driver isn't functional.

Harry, could you please indicate if this reproduces on a modern OpenSolaris
build?
Comment 4 Harry Fu 2009-11-12 02:10:33 UTC
I can not reproduce it on OpenSolaris0906.
