Thunderbird is just partially not localize thus changing bug synopsis. Also I believe this issue belongs to Desktop and is not OpenSolaris specific, but comes directly from GNOME and probably needs to be fixed there first.
small correction- not GNOME but mozilla.org project
For import settings, the fix is integrated in trunk (gnome2.22). But Indiana is built with branch gnome2.20. (refer to CR 6490224) For calendar, Lightning l10n packages are not delivered at the moment. (refer to CR 6542404)
This is localization issue, so moving to i18n-l10n component.
A bit confused on this bug; 6490224 apparently was fixed back in late 2007. Did the fix not make it into the 2.20 branch (even though it's marked integrated in vermillion_80?)
Track in bugster 6542404.
