Description Harry Fu 2008-04-24 02:06:27 UTC
Users can drag and drop gnome-panel to place it vertically at the left or right
side of a screen. However, doing so in Chinese locale may cause some characters
are placed to a wrong position. Please take a look at the attached screen
shots.
screenshot-1: It is a normal display that characters are put horizontally.
screenshot-2: Input method icon is not turned to vertically placed; AM/PM mark
is vertically placed, but its orientation is different with others(Others are
kept normal but AM/PM mark is rotated 90 degree); The week day is OK.
screenshot-3: Input method icon is not turned to vertically placed; The "(" and
")" surrounding the week day is placed in a wrong position; Time and AM/PM mark
is placed to the front of date and AM/PM mark's orientation is still wrong.

Could you file a GNOME bugzilla bug in gnome-panel/clock?

I'd want to track this in desktop.

Because this bug has been tracked in GNOME's bugzilla, close this one.
