Installing the glassfishv2 package from the repository has a very poor out of
box experience. At a minimum it would create a default domain and with an
associated SMF service to manage the server. A menu item to do the same would
also be a nice touch.

Currently, when you go to manually create a domain you get permission problems
on the var directory. It's unclear as to what permission should be set, as
questioned by this blog commenter

As it currently stands, I think having GlassFish in the repository does it more
of a disservice than not having it there at all. It's currently a much better
experience to get it from the java.net web site.
