Description mark.blend 2009-04-16 17:36:52 UTC
OpenSolaris Build 111

With both or only the kfb or nfb in the Chicago. The window system will not
start when connected to a SUN 22 or 24.1 LCD monitor.

The same configurations work through an Analog CRT monitor.

testing can use
svcadm disable gdm
svcadm enable gdm

or for some server output the line below was used
/usr/X11/bin/Xorg :0 -depth 24 -audit 0 -br -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth
(NFB claims no connecting device) * the above command may hang the system

Since the report shows Xorg crashing in the kfb driver, this bug report has
been transferred to bugster as CR 6831559, since that's where all SPARC
graphics driver bugs are tracked and worked.
